PUBLIC STATEMENT OF IMPARTIALITY

Vision Verification (Pty) Ltd is a SANAS-accredited B-BBEE Verification Agency and is committed to conducting all verification activities with the highest level of impartiality, independence and objectivity, in accordance with the requirements of SANAS R47 and the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.

Impartiality is fundamental to the credibility and integrity of the B-BBEE verification process. Vision Verification (Pty) Ltd recognises that impartiality requires the identification, analysis, elimination or mitigation of all risks that could compromise objectivity, including those arising from relationships, financial interests or other conflicts of interest.

Vision Verification (Pty) Ltd ensures impartiality through the following commitments and controls:


  • Verification activities are performed independently and objectively, without commercial, financial or other pressures influencing verification outcomes.
  • Vision Verification (Pty) Ltd does not provide B-BBEE consulting, advisory or implementation services to verification clients, nor does it participate in the design, development or implementation of a client’s B-BBEE strategy.
  • The Agency does not allow ownership, governance, management, contractual or financial relationships to compromise impartiality.
  • All personnel involved in verification activities are required to act impartially and to declare any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest prior to and during verification engagements.
  • Identified risks to impartiality are documented, assessed and effectively managed through a formal risk management and oversight process, in line with SANAS R47 requirements.
  • Verification decisions are based solely on objective evidence and compliance with the applicable B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice.
  • Remuneration of personnel is not linked to the outcome of verification results or certification decisions.
  • The final verification decision is subject to independent review in accordance with internal controls and SANAS accreditation requirements.

Vision Verification (Pty) Ltd maintains organisational structures, policies and procedures designed to safeguard impartiality at all levels of operation. Where any threat to impartiality is identified and cannot be adequately mitigated, Vision Verification (Pty) Ltd will decline or withdraw from the verification engagement.

This Public Statement of Impartiality is published in the interest of transparency and to provide assurance to all stakeholders that Vision Verification (Pty) Ltd operates as an independent, impartial and credible B-BBEE Verification Agency in full compliance with SANAS R47 and applicable international standards.
